If you are a Dutch national living abroad, you can apply for a passport at the Dutch embassy in your country of residence. If you are visiting the Netherlands, you can also apply for a passport at a number of Dutch border municipalities and at the Haarlemmermeer municipal desk at Schiphol Airport.

Information on acquiring and losing Dutch nationality

28 September 2016 This morning the families of the victims of the MH17 disaster were briefed by the Joint Investigation Team on the initial findings of the criminal investigation into the downing of flight MH17. These findings concern the weapon used to down flight MH17, the location from which it was fired and the Buk missile system’s route of transport.

23 September 2016 Registration for the reception for the Dutch Community is closed per Friday the 23rd of September 12:00 hrs. The system won't be able to process applications made 12:00 pm.
