If you are a Dutch national living abroad, you can apply for a passport at the Dutch embassy in your country of residence. If you are visiting the Netherlands, you can also apply for a passport at a number of Dutch border municipalities and at the Haarlemmermeer municipal desk at Schiphol Airport.

Information on acquiring and losing Dutch nationality

10 August 2016 Register here for the reception for the Dutch Community on Tuesday 8th of November (at 4pm) in Christchurch or Wednesday 9th of November (at 3pm) in Auckland.

8 August 2016 At the invitation of the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia His Majesty King Willem-Alexander and Her Majesty Queen Máxima will pay a state visit to Australia. The visit will take place from 31 October to 4 November. At the invitation of the Governor-General of New Zealand, they will then pay a state visit to New Zealand from 7 to 9 November. The visits will focus on the Netherlands’ historical and wide-ranging bilateral ties with Australia and New Zealand.
